The inaugural GD Goenka Shooting Competition will offer Rs 2 lakh making it the richest ever prize money shooting tournament to be held in Gurgaon.
The competition is being organised by GD Goenka University to promote shooting sport and is open to all. Around 500 shooters from across the country are expected to participate in the four day event starting September 26.
The competition will be held at the state-of-the-art shooting range at GD Goenka University which was inaugurated by India’s first individual Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra in July last year.
