Capapie Sports, founded by former Indian shooter Nilesh Rane, has once again proven itself as the premier brand for elite shooters globally. At the Paris Olympics, Capapie-equipped athletes achieved an outstanding 14 out of a maximum possible 15 Olympic medals, a significant leap from the 8 medals won in Tokyo. Leading the charge was 19-year-old Sheng Lihao of China, who set an Olympic record of 252.2 to win gold in Men’s 10m Air Rifle. Sheng, who also won gold in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team, demonstrated the reliability and excellence of Capapie gear. Viktor Lindgren of Sweden took silver, and Croatia’s Miran Maricic secured bronze in the same event.
In Women’s 10m Air Rifle, Korea’s 16-year-old prodigy Ban Hyojin showcased her skill and composure, winning gold in a thrilling shoot-off against China’s Huang Yuting. Both athletes tied with an Olympic record of 251.8, but Ban (10.4) edged out Huang (10.3).
China’s Liu Yukun dominated the Men’s 50m Rifle Three Positions, winning gold after equalling the qualification Olympic record of 594, while Ukraine’s Serhiy Kulish and India’s Swapnil Kusale secured silver and bronze, respectively. In the Women’s 50m Rifle Three Positions, Switzerland’s Chiara Leone captured gold, followed by Sagen Maddalena of the USA and China’s Zhang Qiongyue.
