World No.1 Divyansh Singh Panwar stamped his class by winning the 10m air rifle (T2) at the ongoing selection trials in New Delhi.
The 18-year-old Divyansh of Rajasthan, who shot 628.7 to make it to the finals on the 8th place, registered 250.9 to beat Rudrankksh Patil of Maharashtra by 0.8 point for the top spot.
Junior World Champion Hriday Hazarika of Assam, who had won the first trial (T1), was pushed to the 3rd place while qualification topper Arjun Babuta of Punjab (632.1) finished 7th.
In the women event, Kavi Rakshna of Tamil Nadu emerged on top with 251.4 in a quality field that included current World No.1 Elavenil Valarivan as well as Tokyo Olympic quota winners Apurvi Chandela and Anjum Moudgil, among others.
Just like in (T1) Nisha Kanwar of Rajasthan was once again the best in qualification with 630.7 but stood 2nd in the finals, 0.7 point behind Kavi. The winner of first trial (T1), Elavenil of Gujarat was placed 3rd.
Apurvi (624.5) and Anjum (624.2) were not at their best, and placed 15th and 16th respectively.

Men’s 10m Air Rifle: 1. Divyansh Singh Panwar (Rajasthan) 250.9 (628.7); 2. Rudrankksh Patil (Maharashtra) 249.7 (629.7); 3. Hriday Hazarika (Assam) 229.5 (630.8).
Women’s 10m Air Rifle: 1. C. Kavi Rakshna (Tamil Nadu) 251.4 (627.7); 2. Nisha Kanwar (Rajasthan) 250.7 (630.7); 3. Elavenil Valarivan (Gujarat) 229.1 (629.0).
