Tokyo Olympian Manu Bhaker of Haryana stamped her class by winning the gold in Women 10m Air Pistol at the ongoing 64th National Shooting Championship (Pistol) in New Delhi.
The 19-year-old Manu has now won three of the last four Nationals in the event, losing it briefly to Esha Singh of Telangana in the 62nd Nationals.
Manu claimed the top spot with a score of 241.6 (576) while Shri Nivetha of Tamil Nadu won the silver with 239.9 (581).
Qualification topper Esha Singh won the bronze with 215.4 (582) along with junior and youth gold with scores of 240.7 (582) and 240.3 (582) respectively.
Rhythm Sangwan of Haryana, registered 582 in the qualification, but was disqualified owing to her pistol trigger failing the weight test.
Tokyo Olympian Yashaswini Singh Deswal of Haryana shot 570 to finish 18th.
Devanshi Dhama of Uttar Pradesh won the junior silver with 237.9 (576) and youth bronze with 218.1 (576) while Tejaswani of Haryana won the junior bronze with 218.0 (574) and youth silver with 237.9 (574).
Manu finished fifth in the juniors but was more than happy to defend her senior national title.
