    India finished on top of the medals tally with four gold and three bronze at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo, Egypt.

    Hungary finished in second place with two gold and one silver while Italy came third with one gold and one silver.

    On the final day, India’s Anish Bhanwala bagged a bronze in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire┬á Pistol.

    The 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medallist scored 21 points at the end of the six series, falling behind the winner, Italy’s Massimo Spinella, and silver medallist Clement Bessaguet of France.

    The 22-year-old Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar earned first place in the men’s 50m rifle three positions.

    It is the second World Cup gold medal in the event for him after winning it at New Delhi in 2021.

    Tomar also won the event in the Lima 2021 Junior World Championships, and the Sulhi 2019 Junior World Cup.

    Reigning World Champion Rudrannkksh Patil claimed two gold medals in the competition, as he won the Men’s 10m Air Rifle and the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team alongside Narmada Raju.

    Patil won his first senior World Cup title, as he edged past Maxmillian Ulbrich of Germany.

    Varun Tomar and Rhythym Sangwan earned India’s fourth gold, as they won the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team.

    Tomar also secured a bronze in the Men’s 10 Air Pistol.

    Tilottama Sen, only 14-years-old, achieved a bronze in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle, missing out on the gold medal match by just 0.1 points, which Britain’s Seonaid Mcintosh won.

    The next ISSF World Cup is set to happen in Bhopal, India, which will be from March 20 to March 31.
