Junior World Champion Vijayveer Sidhu of Punjab won the Men 25m Rapid Fire Pistol T4 while his twin brother Udhayveer won Junior T4 at the ongoing National Selection Trials in New Delhi.
The 19-year-old Vijayveer fought off a spirited challenge from Anish Bhanwala and Adarsh Singh to win the gold medal match with 32 hits to his name.
Anish and Adarsh, both representing Haryana came second and third with 28 and 21 hits respectively while 2012 London Olympic silver medallist Vijay Kumar finished fourth with 13 hits.
Udhayveer and Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu of Punjab won the top two places in Junior T4 while Haryana’s Jatin and Adarsh finished third and fourth respectively.
