Mehuli Ghosh of West Bengal won the Women’s 10m Air Rifle T4 at the ongoing National Selection Trials in New Delhi.
The 21-year-old Mehuli, who has now won three of the four selection trials in Women 10m Air Rifle this year, defeated Tokyo Olympian Elavenil Valarivan of Gujarat 16-8 in the gold medal match to register her second win in a space of two days.
Nancy of Haryana took the senior bronze and then went down to Tilottoma Sen of Karnataka in the Junior T4 gold medal match with the latter prevailing 17-7. However, Nancy was not to be denied a top place finsh as she won the Youth T4 over compatriot Ramita with a 16-10 score line.
