    National Shooting: Shriyanka Sadangi wins Gold in Women 50m Rifle Three Positions

    International shooter Shriyanka Sadangi of Odisha won the gold in Women 50m Rifle Three Positions at the ongoing National Shooting Championship (Rifle) in Bhopal.

    The 26-year-old Shriyanka put up a brilliant performance in the final to claim her first ever national title with a score of 454.9 (1167).

    Mansi Kathait of Madhya Pradesh won the silver with 453.5 (1163) while Ayushi Podder of West Bengal took the bronze with 440.9 (1164).

    Qualification topper Sift Kaur Samra of Punjab (1171) was overtaken to the bronze by Ayushi. However Sift won the junior bronze with 440.7 (1171).

    Tokyo Olympian Anjum Moudgil shot 1161 and missed the final due to lesser number of inner-10s while three-time Olympian Anjali Bhagwat, who turned 52 on Sunday, shot 1159 to finish 10th in a field of 131 shooters.

    Nischal of Haryana won the junior gold with 452.9 (1159) while Ashi Chouksey of Madhya Pradesh won the silver with 450.9 (1165).
