Indian shooters are coming forward to make their contribution in the country’s fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Apurvi Chandela, Manu Bhaker, Anish Bhanwal and Ankur Mittal are the latest to join the bandwagon of sports stars who have decided to make monetary contributions which will help in restricting the spread of the deadly virus in India.
Olympian Apurvi will donate Rs 3 lakh towards Prime Minister Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund) and Rs 2 lakh to Rajasthan Relief Fund set up to support the battle against COVID-19.
“I pledge to contribute 3 lakhs to PM CARE Fund and 2 lakhs to Rajasthan Chief Minister Relief Fund. India can, and will fight this pandemic,” Apurvi said in a tweet.

World No. 1 in Double Trap, Ankur will donate Rs. 1 lakh to the PM CARE Fund and Rs. 51,000 to the Haryana Relief Fund set up to support the battle against COVID-19.
