Zalan Pekler of Hungary shot an incredible score of 637.1 which is 3.6 points more than the existing World Record in men’s 10m air rifle at the H&N Cup being held in Munich, Germany.

The World Record of 633.5 was set by compatriot Sidi Peter in 2013 at the ISSF World Cup in Munich.

Zalan’s score will however not get considered for ratification by the ISSF as the world shooting body only considers scores shot in the World Cups, World Championships and the Continental events.

The 19-year-old Zalan, who won the gold in the first match, shot 247.8 but lost the gold by 0.4 point to Russia’s Alexander Vasilyev in the junior men’s 10m air rifle (2).

Viktor Kiss of Hungary won his second bronze.after winning the same in the first match.
