Shooting legend Kimberly Rhode of USA continued her winning streak by winning gold medal with 53 hits in the Women’s Skeet at the ISSF World Cup in Al Ain following her victory in Acapulco.
This was the 20th gold for Kimberly and 7th in the last two years including both the World Cup titles this year.
The silver in today’s final was won by Francisca Crovetto Chadid of Chile with 52 while Andri Eleftheriou of Cyprus shot 41 to take the bronze and Olympic quota.
All three medalists had to battle it out in a shoot-off with three other athletes for a place in the final. Kimberly, Crovetto and Andri hit 118 targets out of 125 in the qualification.
The other quota was won by Aleksandra Jarmolinska of Poland who finished 6th with 25 hits.
